Forest Live is an annual event set-up by Forestry England in order to support their main mission, looking after the UK’s forests.
We were approached with a simple idea, but one that would require a lot of attention to detail – showcasing their amazing events with the main goal of drawing attention & increasing sales for next summer’s events.
Forest Live and Reverb.
What We Did.
Through vigorous planning alongside Forestry, we decided to attend 3 shows at 2 venues to capture the footage we needed.
We chose 2 venues for shot variety and to showcase their USP of hosting events in different forests up and down the country.
The days were then spent gathering footage – on-stage of the artists and frontal shots of the crowd, among the audience as they enjoyed the shows and atmosphere, and aerial shots of the venues with our drones.
Forestry asked us for 3 distinct videos, all around 30-45 seconds, each targeted at a different demographic – Concert-goers, people who prefer to picnic, and would-be volunteers for future events.
Each video had a different end-card and call-to-action to suit their place in Forestry England’s marketing strategy.
It was then up to us to create 3 different edits, with appropriate music to attract the crowd Forestry were targeting. All of this while keeping their USP in mind, showcasing the beautiful forest backdrops in each piece.
The Deliverables.
What They Said.
Forest Live 2023 went off without a hitch, up and down the country. Acts for their 2024 are being announced using our videos and they continue to use our content even after partnering with LiveNation and Cuffe and Taylor as co-promoters.
It was a pleasure to work with Reverb Digital on the video content for our Forest Live concert series. They were very professional, reliable, and responded to the brief excellently, while also putting forward suggestions that could improve the content.
The footage they captured really illustrated the atmosphere of our events and we were very happy with the edits.
I would recommend them to anyone looking to create video content for outdoor live music events.

In late 2023 Forest Live had us back to produce more content in the form of social posts based on the original videos we made in summer 2022, so we must’ve been on to something!
